Sharpen and practice your Gujarati skills with other local students of the Indo-Aryan language that is native to Gujarat! All skill levels welcome.

As people immigrate to the US, it is only natural that their language and culture will fade with time. It is with strong determination and personal effort that any language can be preserved through the generations.

We welcome native speakers and their expertise, new students of the language, non-native students of the language, etc. - everyone who is interested in the Gujarati language is welcome.

We can learn from each other and compliment each other's knowledge levels. This group will use reading and writing as a basis for increasing vocabulary. Each session will be catered to the needs and interests of those in attendance.

Make sure to check out the Gujarati Language Links in the About Us section - there are some really good tutorials online. Send a note to the organizer if you come across additional sites!

Hi Everyone - The 4:30 time seems to work better for people because they can still get to their evening plans.

We will continue with Amma since it is so casual and easy to accomodate different size groups at the last minute. I am open to suggestions for other restaurants that would not require a reservation. Since it's the weekend, we can meet in different cities also. Read more
