Hi folks - I am going to try a weekend event again. I hope that more of you will be able to make it. I have made it early in the evening so that people can still participate in Saturday evening plans later on. Also, I'm hoping the restaurant won't be crowded this early in the evening!

Finding Amma: There is a little white sign with black lettering and it is easy to miss. However, look for the Taco Bell - Amma is right next to it. I will send out an e-mail to those who RSVP Yes or Maybe the day before the event with my phone number in case you are running late or are lost.

The basic schedule is ordering/arriving from 5:30-5:45. 5:45-6:45 for dinner + Gujarati session and 6:45-7 for wrap up.

We had to cancel the picnic due to rain expected throughout the day tomorrow.

We will still plan to meet on Saturday during lunchtime - 1:30 at Saravana Palace in Fairfax. The lunch buffet on the weekends is $10.95 - during the week it is $7.95.

We welcome everyone no matter what your level of Gujarati knowledge. If you have materials - books, newspapers, etc. - I encourage you to bring them!
