The Vegetarian Society of DC is organizing a gourmet vegan Life-Affirming Thanksgiving Meal for 200 or so people at the Crystal Ballroom of the Bethesda Hyatt. The speaker for this event will be Wendy Rieger, news anchor for NBC4 News at 5:00pm. She will be discussing her journey to becoming a vegetarian as well as the connection between dietary choices and the environment.
